Spread the word and bring a group to this special event!  We are now accepting raffle item donations at our office.  A special thank you to everyone who has already dropped off items.
We are also starting a new tradition this year called a Wall of Hope. This is an additional effort to help raise even more money for The American Cancer Society and also give people a chance to honor loved ones. Anyone can submit a form either via mail, or drop at our office, for someone who has either beat, fought, or lost their fight with cancer. The forms are $3 for 1 submission or $5 for 2 submissions. You may also include a photo no larger than 3’x5′. We will display all forms/photos at our event. To download a form to fill out, click here. April marks 50 years since the federal Fair Housing Act was passed. It prohibited housing discrimination by race, color, creed and national origin. Below in the photograph is William Byron (right) and his son (left). William Byron introduced a housing bill in 1963 that would make it illegal to deny people the chance to buy or rent a home because of their race, among other classifications.
